Why do I need a home charging point?

What type of charger is best for me?

We have range of chargers which suit the needs of different customers. Our chargers may fit your needs for different reason convenience, size or style. We have options to suit your requirements.

Should I get tethered or a socket charger?

A tethered charger is used to charge your electric vehicle via a permanently fixed cable.

A socket charger is used to charge your electric vehicle via an interchangeable lead to be stored safely when not in use.

How does the OZEV Grant Work?

The OZEV Grant offers a £350 funding grant towards your EV Car charger. There are a number of conditions which must be met to be eligible for the grant.

  • You must have off street parking
  • Must be an OZEV approved charger
  • The charger must be installed by an approved OZEV installer
  • The date of install must be within 4 months of either becoming the registered keeper or the delivery date.

The new EV Chargepoint Grant replaces the Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) and is open to:

  • homeowners who live in flats
  • people in rental accommodation (flats and single-use properties)
  • residential and commercial landlords, social housing providers or property factors
